Description

Every person has the right to learn basic reading and writing skills, Illiterates are those who lack this level of education. Despite the fact that we live in a incredibly sophisticated world where illiteracy still exists and has a significant impact on the country's overall prosperity. Illiteracy has a wide range of societal consequences. It has an impact on the country's growth, society's citizens, and illiterate individuals.

To begin with, illiteracy has a significant impact on the country's progress; people who are illiterate are unable to participate in this development, advancement and lack of basic education as well as the necessary basic abilities to get work, they are obliged to work in positions that do not demand many abilities, such as reading and writing, as a result of their lack of talents. This may lead to their being impoverished. Furthermore, illiterate people might be a big burden on the country due to their lack of education; as a result, certain countries may provide assistance in the form of donations to assist them in obtaining the basic necessities of life, this will have an impact on the country's economy, halting its progress and development.

Illiteracy has an impact on society's citizens and mostly impacts the lives of illiterate parents who are unable to find suitable employment to support their family. As a result, their lifestyle and demands would be affected. Furthermore, illiterate parents have an impact on their children; if the parents were not adequately educated it is possible that this will be passed down to the following generation. In other words, children pick up a lot of their perspectives and ideas from their parents, thus if a parent does no believe that education is a critical component of success, their feelings will be passed down to their children, these people have an impact on those around them and literate people find it difficult to engage with the illiterate and they will just stifle their advancement and gain nothing from them.

Illiteracy has a negative impact on a country's ability to develop its people resources in the global economy; countries with a high illiteracy rate are more likely to be disadvantaged if a population is illiterate, it will be unable to participate in high-tech jobs. New occupations in science, mathematics, and technology are predominantly established in countries with high literacy. Another significant consequence of illiteracy is the lack of access to basic information, which is delivered through books, newspapers, and the Internet; Practical advice on how to improve one's quality of life, such as how to participate in microfinance programs could be included in this type of information. In short, illiteracy does not promote constructive societal transformation, personal growth, or language and cultural preservation and development.

Teaching parents to read so that they can teach their children is one of the most effective ways to address the intractable problem of literacy, as they see and assist their parents to make lists, writing letters to family members or friends, or reading restaurant menus, children learn about the uses of written language because mothers are the primary instructors of children, if adult women are educated then the children automatically have the enthusiasm to study, if this continues it can revolute each generation to study, educate, to read and write. Women have to teach their male and female children and it automatically implies to teach to their children. When a society's literacy rate rises, it tends to develop new capabilities and place a higher importance on literacy.
