As a Public Health Policy Officer, you are responsible for initiating strategies and policies for both health intervention and prevention. In order for a target audience to thrive, they need to pay attention not only to their physical health, but also to their mental, social and financial well-being.

Before public health activities take place, policy makers and officials go through an extensive research process to determine which public health issues need to be addressed and to develop the best possible solution thereafter increase few common health policies that are a central part of society today are: Food safety policy is very important to the overall health of individuals and people in society. Food poisoning is a major problem, and it is the job of public health authorities to develop policies to ensure that only foods that are safe to consume are open to the public (Shelton, 2018). Tobacco use Many public health authorities have taken action to reduce the risk of death and illness from tobacco use and smoking. Some of these policies include raising tobacco prices and creating tobacco-free zones in the community to protect non-smokers from the effects of secondary smoking (Stjernsward et al., 2007).

Toxicology studies how environmental exposures lead to specific health results, generally in animals, as a means to understand possible health effects in humans. It has the advantage of being able to conduct randomized controlled trials and different experimental studies because they can use animal subjects. However there are differences in animal and human biology, and there can be a number of uncertainty when interpreting the effects of animal studies for their implications for human health. It plays an important role in educating the general public about HIV prevention virus management methods, treatment options, and avoidance of prejudice. Public health measures are being implemented, including testing, contraception, and increased access to drugs to significantly reduce the effects and spread of the virus in various communities.

Reforms have the potential to level the competition between employer-sponsored health insurance and personal health insurance and enhance insurance protection.
