The aim of the present research was to determine the â??Association between Psychological Distress and Life Satisfaction among Diabetic Patientsâ??. Three objectives were planned to explore the study in a better way, the first objective was aimed to explore the effect of the psychological distress on the life satisfaction of diabetic patients and the second objective aimed to explore the relationship between life satisfaction and psychological distress among diabetic patients whereas the last objective was aimed to find out the gender difference in life satisfaction and psychological distress among the diabetic patients. The study used a probability sampling technique for deriving the sample. A sample of 200 Adult Diabetic patients was taken, on which questionnaires of Satisfaction with Life scale and Kessler Psychological distress were applied. Results were compiled by analysis techniques. For demographic analysis t-test was applied, through which a significant gender difference in life satisfaction and psychological distress was observed. Pearson correlation analysis and regression analysis were done for the determination of relationships and the effect of the variables. The correlation was found significant at p<0.01. This study will be helpful both in medical and psychological field like to understand the behavior of diabetic patients. It will help to seek more appropriate techniques for their recovery.
